Food and pharmaceutical facilities don't get to choose between durable and sanitary. They need both. Floors in these environments face constant washdowns, harsh cleaning chemicals, thermal shock, heavy equipment, and strict health-code requirements. The wrong floor cracks, harbors bacteria, and fails inspection.
Hydro Pressure Washing installs seamless industrial coating systems built for the demands of food production and regulated facilities across Los Angeles County and Orange County.
Food-facility flooring typically must be smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to sanitize, with an integral coved base where the floor meets the wall to eliminate the seams and corners where bacteria collect. Troweled-on systems are commonly specified at a minimum thickness around 3/16 inch, with a coved base several inches high. We build to these standards, but local rules vary, so we coordinate to your county health department’s specific requirements.
Standard epoxy alone often isn’t enough for wet, hot, and cold-temperature production areas. Urethane cement (urethane mortar) systems are designed for the following.
The single biggest cause of industrial floor failure is poor surface preparation. As a professional pressure-washing and surface-prep company, we mechanically profile, clean, and repair the substrate before a single coat goes down, so the system bonds permanently and performs the way it’s engineered to.
Tell us your facility type, square footage, temperature and washdown conditions, and any health-code requirements you’re working under. We’ll specify the right system and provide a detailed written estimate. Call today or request a free industrial assessment.
